Like really really really LA hot.

It’s the weather that most non-Californians envy.

But there’s nothing to envy here.

As I drip sweat just by walking to my car from my house.

So Butters and I have been staying put.

Watching reruns of Greys Anatomy.

While I guzzle down this sangria by the pitcher.

You can swap out the prosecco with ginger ale for more fizziness.

It goes flat quite quickly with the ginger ale.

So be sure to drink fast!

Raspberry Peach Sangria

Yield: 8 servings

Prep Time: 1 hour 5 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup peach schnapps
  • 3 peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 (750mL) bottle sparkling white wine*
  • 8 sprigs mint

Directions:

  1. In a large pitcher, whisk together white wine, peach schnapps, peaches and raspberries.
  2. Let chill in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  3. Serve over ice with sparkling white wine, garnished with mint, if desired.

*Ginger ale or lemon lime soda can be substituted.
