Greek Yogurt Berry Parfaits
Yopa! Greek yogurt is a delicious, new addition to my healthy lifestyle!
A couple weeks back, I had a chance to try Yopa! Greek yogurt, and boy was I in for a treat.
See, if you’ve followed Damn Delicious for some time now, I’m sure you’ve realized that I love Greek yogurt. Like love-love Greek yogurt. It’s seriously the best thing ever, especially since it’s such a good fit to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Plus, it’s loaded with protein with farm-fresh regionally-sourced milk. And did you know that it takes four gallons of milk to make one gallon of Yopa! yogurt?
I’m also constantly using Greek yogurt in most of my recipes to “healthify” it, like in this egg salad and this chicken pesto sandwich, but my favorite way to use it is in a berry parfait, especially when the vanilla flavored Yopa! yogurt is involved. My absolute favorite part about this parfait is how the light, balanced sweetness from the wonderfully tart yogurt beautifully complements the natural sweetness of the berries, layer after layer, and the granola topping gives off that nice crunch in every bite.
With breakfasts like these every morning, I’m definitely starting off the day on the right foot!
