In the time that I’ve been blogging, I’ve discovered a couple of ingredients that I thought I would never come close to. Quinoa is definitely one of them. Every time I heard the word “quinoa,” I would shudder in fear thinking that it was just too healthy for my taste. I think I even referred to quinoa as “hamster food.” But after I tried it the first time, I was in love.
The second ingredient that I’ve recently become obsessed with is Chobani Greek Yogurt. See, they’re products are completely gluten-free, and they only use natural ingredients without any preservatives or artificial flavors, have real fruit in their yogurt and has twice as much protein than regular yogurt.
I love eating it plain with a light drizzle of honey and even some strawberry jam. I also love substituting it in most of my recipes in place of mayo and sour cream, which is incredibly amazing because it still upholds the creamy goodness but cuts down the calories by so much! It also goes perfectly in breads, muffins and best of all, pancakes.
